We all know that the very best restaurants are the "hidden gems" that only locals know about. Some of the best food I have tasted has been from a hole-in-the-wall local restaurant. Every city has them so let's get into Cedar City's "hidden gems" you need to get on board with.
Why Local?
Eating local is not just about trying new places, it's about supporting local businesses. Chain restaurants get plenty of business each day, that's why they are able to open up more and more restaurants around the state, country, or world.
Local businesses don't always have this kind of luck. The only customers they can count on are their "locals". It's our job to support small businesses because they are run by our neighbors, our friends and family.
Not to mention, local restaurants usually use local ingredients which make their food a whole lot better than any chain restaurant. So shop local, and check out your small local restaurants in support!
Cedar's Gems
Now, I have been around the block in Cedar City and curated a wonderful list of only the best restaurants. I will only be sharing my top three restaurants from that list and will go into short detail about each restaurant and my favorite items at each!
Palette Bakery- this is not a full restaurant but they make cakes of all kind, have the best homemade ice cream (with unique flavors), and great baked goods!

Brad's Food Hut- This is the ultimate burger and fries joint. I definitely recommend the Bronco Burger and the fries or cheese sticks!

Puerto Vallarta Jalisco- Who knew you could find authentic Mexican food in Cedar City? This is the place to go if you want real, delicious, and really delicious Mexican food! 10/10 would recommend the fresh guacamole, it's made right in front of you and could not be fresher.
