Grocery Stores
First, let me start out by saying, I am one of those crazy people who shop at several different grocery stores. I know, arrest me.
But let me share with you my holy grail grocery stores that I buy from (and you should too).
Lins
Walmart
Smiths
Obviously these are the grocery stores local to Cedar City but any grocery store will do. My rule of thumb: shop local as much as possible. It's cheaper, easier, and fresher.
Top 5 Grocery Store Must-haves!
1. The Greek Gods Honey Vanilla Greek Style Yogurt
I cannot say enough about this delicious yogurt. But I'll start by saying it tastes like ice cream. It is creamy, it's sweet, and it has clean ingredients! The ONLY yogurt I will spend $4 on! But I always look for it to go on sale at Smiths.

2. Spaghetti Squash
This is obviously a seasonal item but I LOVE spaghetti squash during fall. It's so easy to substitute for pasta or rice. I microwave or roast the squash and then throw some spaghetti sauce over top for the easiest dinner! I like to buy this locally at Lins, the nearest pumpkin patch, or the farmers market!

3. Popcorners
If you are trying to snack on something healthier than chips, this. is. your. alternative. I could not recommend these delicious "chips" enough.
The kettle flavor is definitely my personal favorite but they come in flavors white cheddar and salted as well. I usually buy the mini bags at Costco because I like to take them on the go but you can find these at Walmart, Target, and Smiths.
4. Fresh Fruit
Yes!!! You DO need to buy fresh fruit every time you make your weekly grocery store run.
I cannot tell you how many meals I use fresh fruit in. I am constantly adding fruit to oatmeal, The Greek Gods Honey Vanilla Greek Style Yogurt (of course), and eating them on the go as a snack.
My favorite seasonal fruits at the moment are peaches, berries, and grapes.
I always try to shop local when it comes to produce but I'll occasionally buy fruit from Smiths.

5. Frozen Veggies
Don't lose faith in me just because I am telling you to buy fresh fruit and vegetables...
Because I really do HATE fresh vegetables. I also hate cooked vegetables. But I DO like roasted vegetables. So just hear me out.
This is my cheap, quick, and easy hack to getting your vitamins and minerals in each day. Buy them frozen, and either drink them or roast them.
I am constantly throwing frozen spinach and cauliflower into my smoothies because you can't even taste them and they make me feel healthy.
But roasted vegetables are something I actually want to taste. I drizzle them in olive oil, throw some salt and pepper over top, and bake them at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes on a sheet pan. They are perfect every time. And they last for several days in the fridge.
